This training builds on the introductory session "Bidding for Digital Procurement Opportunities from the World Bank: An Introduction" and focuses specifically on the procedural side of bidding for MDB-funded digital procurement opportunities. The course provides an in-depth explanation of the two-stage RFP process — from the submission requirements of the 1st phase through to the preparation and submission of the bid in the 2nd phase — with practical, operational guidance on how to apply at each step.
What you'll gain:
Understand in detail how the 1st stage of an RFP process works and what is required to qualify
Learn how to prepare and submit a competitive bid at the 2nd stage
Get practical, step-by-step guidance on how to apply and manage the process from start to finish
Identify common pitfalls at each stage and how to avoid them
Ideal for: Suppliers and consultants who are already familiar with the World Bank’s digital procurement opportunities and want operational guidance on how to navigate and apply through the two-stage RFP process.
Duration: 60 mins
Note for participants: Participants are invited to submit questions prior to the session so that the trainer can tailor the discussion and address concrete bidding challenges, including specific issues encountered in past submissions.
